Northern Lights Dance Club
BALLROOM WEDNESDAYS WITH PIZZA!
Wednesdays, NLBC is hosting fun evenings of ballroom dancing on the lower level of the West Fargo VFW. The entrance fee ($5.00 for Members, $10.00 for Non-Members) includes lessons at 7 PM, assisted practice AND pizza at 9 PM.
Dance Lessons this year will be in a similar format as in 2012. A different dance will be featured each month.
Dance step patterns will be presented in the format designed by Donald Johnson & Kasia Kozak for Dance Vision's "Anyone can Dance" DVD's for beginners. This format provides beginners the opportunity to order the DVD from Dance Vision. This enables dancers to practice on their own as they progress through the program. The DVD's retail for $24.99 and feature approximately 8 different dance step patterns.

May 2013 - Polka
Wed 1st - Basic & Progressive Basic Forward and Back, Turning Basic to Left and Turning Basic to Right - Greg & Diane
Wed 8th - Promenade & Promenade with Underarm turn & Counter Promenade - Ari & Theja
Wed 15th -Advanced Basic, Outside Turn and Inside Turn - Greg & Diane
Wed 22nd -Man's underarm turn, Cradle - Ari & Theja
Wed 29th - Chases Left & Right, Heel, Toe Chases - Ed & Joyce Westfall
June 2013 - Rumba
Wed June 5th - A Special Nite - We will have our scheduled dance lesson starting at 7:00 PM
North Dakota's own Myron Sommerfeld And His Music will be playing from 8:00-9:30 PM for our dancing pleasure. Please join us for a fun evening.
Our dance lesson will be Rumba: Side basic, 5th position, crossover break, outside partner -

Wed 12th - Box Step and Crossbody Lead - Ari and Theja
Wed 19th - Slow Underarm Turn and Open Break with Underarm Turn - Ed and Joyce
Wed 26th - The Ocho "around-the-world" - Greg and Diane

August 2013 - Latin Month (Ari and Theja)
September 2013 - Salsa
October 2013 - West Coast Swing
November 2013 - Tango
December 2013 - Foxtrot
