NDSU Ballroom Team Does Well at 2013 Minneapolis Competition
The NDSU Ballroom Dance Club participated in the all-American Star of the North ballroom competition in Minneapolis on March 2-3, 2013. Hundreds of college students from Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois attended. The highlight was the College Team Match, in which each team selected it's top 3 couples to dance swing, foxtrot and rumba. NDSU's team of Shane Gores and Megan Meyer, Charles Forward and Rachel Wotzka, and Quang Phan and Sara Schock finished in the top 6 out of 20 teams. The match was one by Northwestern University from Chicago.
